About the Farm
We started Tweedside Mains in December 2019 with the arrival of our first two pygora goats, Finlay and Merida. It has taken several years to find the right goats to bring to our farm, but in July 2022 we grew our herd and in October we bred our first group of does. In August 2022, we registered our herd and became a member of the Pygora Goat (PGA) and Nigora Goat Association (ANGBA).

What We Do
We raise, bred and sell both registered pygora, nigora and unregistered fiber goats. We also have raw fleece for sale at a very reasonable price. Contact us at tweedsidemains@yahoo.com to learn more about our goats and our fleece.

Who We Are
The name our farm, Tweedside Mains, is derived from the term mànas (Scottish Gaelic), signifies a farm, while the Tweedside District denotes the picturesque area in southern Scotland where the meandering Tweed River flows. This area holds deep significance to our family as it is the very region where my Laird and Rainey ancestors once resided before embarking on their journey to the United States. In homage to their legacy and the land they once called home, we proudly named our farm Tweedside Mains.
